Speed Reducers

A reduction gear is a device that increases the torque obtained while being attached to a motor to reduce the rotational speed of the motor. In general, a worm gear is used to obtain a deceleration effect. Because of the structure of the worm gear, the input shaft of the motor and the output shaft that has been decelerated are orthogonal, and the degree of deceleration is determined by the gear ratio of the built-in worm gear. When selecting the reducer, check the shape of the input and output shafts, the specifications of the motor to be used, and the required reduction ratio and torque.
